TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

Welcome to Guided Love Connections, operated by LA Ventures LLC. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions (“Agreement”) before using our services or website. This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms governing your use of our services.

SERVICES

Guided Love Connections provides matchmaking, personalized introductions, dating and relationship coaching, events, and related services. Services may evolve and change at any time.

We may also utilize AI-supported tools to assist with communication, scheduling, and compatibility insights. These tools support—but do not replace—our human-centered matchmaking process.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and single or legally separated. By using our services, you represent that:

  • You are emotionally available for dating
  • All information you provide is accurate and current
  • You have not been convicted of a felony
  • You are not required to register as a sex offender

MEMBERSHIP & FEES

You may submit a profile for consideration. Paid memberships provide access to additional services, including consultations, introductions, coaching, and events.

  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable
  • Membership begins upon your first consultation or service engagement
  • You may request one membership hold per term (up to one month) with written notice

PAYMENTS & NO REFUNDS

All payments, including membership fees, consultations, coaching sessions, and event registrations, are non-refundable.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that time, resources, and personalized effort are immediately invested on your behalf.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks. Any billing concerns must be addressed directly with us.

CANCELLATION & TERMINATION

You may cancel your membership at any time with written notice; however, no refunds will be issued.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund if you violate this Agreement or engage in behavior that is harmful, deceptive, or disrespectful.

NO GUARANTEES

We do not guarantee:

  • Matches
  • Compatibility
  • Chemistry
  • Relationship outcomes

All introductions are based on professional judgment, not certainty of outcome.

NO DUTY TO INVESTIGATE

We do not conduct comprehensive background checks unless explicitly stated.

We do not verify all information provided by members. Individuals may misrepresent themselves.

You are responsible for your own due diligence and personal safety.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You acknowledge that participation in matchmaking, introductions, coaching, and events involves inherent emotional, physical, and social risks.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

  • Meeting and interacting with others
  • Attending in-person or virtual events
  • Engaging in coaching or relationship guidance

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY

All communication, meetings, and relationship decisions are made solely by you.

You are fully responsible for your actions, choices, and personal safety.

MEMBER CONDUCT

You agree to behave respectfully and honestly. You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent yourself
  • Harass, harm, or manipulate others
  • Use services for unlawful or exploitative purposes

We may suspend or terminate services for inappropriate conduct.

EVENTS & THIRD-PARTY VENUES

Events may be hosted at third-party venues.

We do not control these venues and are not responsible for:

  • Venue conditions
  • Actions of attendees or third parties

Attendance is voluntary and at your own risk.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may refer you to third-party providers (e.g., photographers, stylists, coaches).

We are not responsible for their services, pricing, or outcomes.

CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding other members and introductions.

Do not share or disclose personal information without consent.

We maintain strict confidentiality practices and do not sell your information.

PHOTO & TESTIMONIAL USE

We may use event photos and client testimonials for marketing purposes.

Profile photos submitted for matchmaking will not be used publicly and are only shared privately with potential matches.

COMMUNICATION CONSENT

You consent to receiving communications via email, phone, and SMS, including service updates, match notifications, and promotional messages.

Standard messaging rates may apply. You may opt out at any time.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Guided Love Connections and LA Ventures LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of services
  • Your interactions with other individuals
  • Your violation of this Agreement

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guided Love Connections shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use of services
  • Interactions with other individuals
  • Event participation

MAXIMUM LIABILITY

If liability is established, it shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for services.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or technical disruptions.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Disputes will first attempt mediation. If unresolved, they will proceed to binding arbitration in Cumberland County, Maine.

You waive the right to jury trial and class action claims.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maine.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement represents the entire agreement between you and Guided Love Connections.

REVISIONS

We may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE

By using our services, website, or communicating agreement electronically, you provide your legally binding digital acceptance of this Agreement.
